About Us

This website was created by Valerie a student at the Berlin Brandenburg international School as her personal project. 

The aim of this website is to make people aware of the enormous dangers created by the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and wants to inspire people to take action against this catastrophe. The website offers important and interesting information and also contains links to large organizations such as Greenpeace who are acting against the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. 

Furthermore, the website contains links to other websites, videos and also large companies who are working at constructing plans to solve this issue in the next couple of years and prevent the Pacific Garbage patch of growing even more.
